The best way I have found to produce music on the PC is by using NoteWorthy.
NoteWorthy is a brilliant piece of shareware which is easy to use. Simply by
using mouse and keyboard it is possible to place the notes on standard staves,
play the music back, print the score and save the music in the native .NWC
format or export to MIDI. Midi files can also be imported and converted to
NoteWorthy format.
To hear the music files listed below you can either
download NoteWorthy
Composer (Shareware) which will enable you to edit the files also, or the
(Freeware)
NoteWorthy Player
which will simply play the music.
A few of the files I have produced using NoteWorthy are listed below and more
will follow in time. For preview, I have also included midi versions.
The Circassian Circle
A set of Jigs which can be used for various circle dances.
The Irish Washerwoman
The Mucking of Geordies Byre
